WordPress blog\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcink.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">blog post<\/a> on &#8220;new passwords for the new year&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Met up with my BFF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wondered if the horrible neighbors had finished moving out<\/li>\n<li>Was interrupted for a nap by:\n<ul>\n<li>Starting a load of laundry<\/li>\n<li>Phone call from my parents<\/li>\n<li>Phone call from my mentor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sketched a <a title=\"A squid wizard. Part of the Doodle of the Day 2011 series.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/vmcamposjr\/6610982523\/in\/photostream\" target=\"_blank\">picture of a wizard\/squid<\/a> character<\/li>\n<li>Delivered a late Christmas present<\/li>\n<li>Opened a cabinet only <em>I<\/em> could open<\/li>\n<li>Drove around to find a place to eat that wasn&#8217;t too crowded<\/li>\n<li>Had lunch at Luna Grill (good burger!)<\/li>\n<li>Had a <a title=\"Photo shoot with PmDuarte\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_7846.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">photo shoot<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Raced to the Pacific Ocean to catch the sunset<\/li>\n<li>Got to the Imperial Beach Pier to watch the last sunset of 2011<\/li>\n<li>Saw a lot of fog, instead of the <a title=\"The last, foggy sunset of 2011\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/vmcampos\/status\/153285419394539521\" target=\"_blank\">last sunset of 2011<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Had an amazing, impromptu <a title=\"Imperial Beach Pier photo shoot\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_7847.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">photo shoot at the pier<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Posted on <a title=\"My Instagram photos\" href=\"http:\/\/web.stagram.com\/n\/vmcampos\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ate quesadillas at the <a title=\"The Tin Fish restaurant\" href=\"https:\/\/foursquare.com\/v\/the-tin-fish\/4be21e1c660ec928e1dbc83b\" target=\"_blank\">Tin Fish<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Stared at the awesome pitch darkness at the western-most end of the IB Pier, into the Pacific Ocean<\/li>\n<li>Had a special time in Imperial Beach (&#8220;Like visiting a new state&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li>Drove past my old high school (<a title=\"Go Mariners!\" href=\"http:\/\/mvh.sweetwaterschools.org\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Mar Vista<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Drove past <a title=\"Go Vikings!\" href=\"http:\/\/mvm.sweetwaterschools.org\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">my old middle school<\/a> (Mar Vista)<\/li>\n<li>Recalled the time I was in a car accident back in middle school<\/li>\n<li>Sung car-aoke with PmDuarte: <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Forgiven\/dp\/B001OG000E\/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1325420765&amp;sr=8-3\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Forgiven<\/em> by Alanis Morissette<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Drove through some <em>incredibly<\/em> <a title=\"The Killer Fog of 2011\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_7851.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">dangerous fog<\/a> on the 905 and 125<\/li>\n<li>Dropped off my BFF and hugged her for the last time in 2011<\/li>\n<li>Visited my parents and hugged everyone<\/li>\n<li>Went on a quest to buy dinner at\n<ul>\n<li>Giant Pizza King<\/li>\n<li>KFC (got a photo with <a title=\"Me and The Colonel, chillin'\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_7856.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">The Colonel<\/a>!)<\/li>\n<li>Rally&#8217;s (but was closed!)<\/li>\n<li>Jack in the Box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Pigged out at my parent&#8217;s place<\/li>\n<li>Watched <a title=\"Ghostbusters II at IMDb\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0097428\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ghostbusters II<\/a> on VH1 (WTH?) till midnight<\/li>\n<li>Watched CNN to ring in the new year (<a title=\"Anderson Cooper's Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/andersoncooper\" target=\"_blank\">Anderson Cooper<\/a> &amp; <a title=\"Kathy Griffin's Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/kathygriffin\" target=\"_blank\">Kathy Griffin<\/a> rock)<\/li>\n<li>Hugged everyone for the first time in 2012<\/li>\n<li>Texted everyone at the stroke of midnight<\/li>\n<li>Left my parent&#8217;s place with some tasty leftovers and a great <a title=\"Yoshi from Super Mario World\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_7863.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Yoshi<\/a> bag<\/li>\n<li>Listened to <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/soundtracking.com\/tracks\/4eaaf6861d28346fb70014cf\" target=\"_blank\">Jimi Hendrix<\/a> on the drive back home<\/li>\n<li>Fed my kitty for the first time in 2012<\/li>\n<li>Started to change my online <a title=\"vmcampos on Gravatar\" href=\"http:\/\/en.gravatar.com\/vmcamposjr\" target=\"_blank\">avatar<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Started to change my passwords for 2012<\/li>\n<li>Throughout the day had some fun moments in social media:\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Hiding at Cheesecake Factory\" href=\"http:\/\/vmcampos.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/cheese.png\" target=\"_blank\">foursquare<\/a> with <a title=\"rm_83 on foursquare\" href=\"https:\/\/foursquare.com\/rm_83\" target=\"_blank\">Raul Meza<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"vmcampos on Google+\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/vmcampos\" target=\"_blank\">Google+<\/a> with <a title=\"Kevin Key on Google+\" href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/u\/0\/108889174347197158647\/posts\" target=\"_blank\">Kevin Key<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"vmcampos on Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/vmcampos\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter <\/a>all the time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Finished the first draft of this post at 4:30am<\/li>\n<li>Finished the last draft of this post at 6:15am and then published<\/li>\n<li>Went to bed about 20 hours after I woke up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What a long, wonderful day, huh? Obviously the last few things I did took place on the first day of 2012. But since I haven&#8217;t gone to sleep yet, I&#8217;m counting it all as one &#8220;day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The moral of the story? <strong>Live each day to its fullest.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What did I do on December 31, 2011?
