You can’t go wrong with DC girls costumes. Or a group effort of She-Ra villains. This is enough great cosplay to have a fun game of Comic-Con Bingo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

10. \u00a0Ayane<\/h2>\n

I’m not sure where this character is from (yes, I’m dumb<\/a>) For some reason she looks like a she’s from a fighting game<\/a>. She went all out: nice authentic (?) outfit, good pose, and she even dyed her hair. She’s standing in front of one of the spots where you can get a picture taken and look like you’re on the Comic-Con red carpet.
\nUPDATE:<\/strong> The mystery has been solved! That’s Ayane <\/a>from the Dead or Alive<\/em> series. A *fighting* game– as I predicted.<\/p>\n

9. Super Girl & Wonder Woman<\/h2>\n

Nice smiles, nice costumes, nice job. Oh, and frilly bloomers<\/a> on Wonder Woman, if you didn’t notice.<\/p>\n

8. She-Ra Villains<\/h2>\n

I used to watch the\u00c2\u00a0He-Man<\/a> cartoon back in the day, but never really got into She-Ra<\/a>. I think I had too many Y chromosomes. Same for those other girly characters from the ’80s<\/a>. But now I see the characters in a totally new light.<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Pikmin & Slave Leia<\/h2>\n

What’s Comic-Con without Slave Leia<\/a>? A hollow shell of its former self, of course. Here we have a helpful little Pikmin<\/a> posing with Leia. Captain Olimar<\/a> is taking the photo, of course.<\/p>\n

6. Chun-Li<\/h2>\n

She was getting ready for a Spinning Bird Kick<\/a><\/em>! Bonus: That’s a Spartan<\/a> in the background. I wonder where he dined<\/a> that night?<\/p>\n

5. Leeloo<\/h2>\n

If you can’t have Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich\u00a0herself, you might as well have a darn good doppelganger<\/a>. After saving the world, she’s gone off to other<\/a> adventures.<\/p>\n

Sometimes you realize that girl-versions<\/a> of male characters are nice.<\/p>\n

3. {Bling Trooper}<\/h2>\n

Sometimes people go so outside the box<\/a> you can’t believe it. This was probably the most LOL-worthy<\/a> costume of the day. Also, not only has the Empire perfected Trooper cloning technology, apparently they’ve also perfected Slave Girl cloning<\/a> technology. Bravo.<\/p>\n

2. {Dragon}<\/h2>\n

Perhaps if could see the guy’s shirt I’d know where the character was from. Nonetheless, I think it’s a kawaii<\/a> costume. Like I’ve said, you don’t always need dark & brooding, or sexy costumes. Sometimes alls you need is a light-hearted fun costume to brighten someone’s day.<\/p>\n

1. Lobo<\/h2>\n

Oh, hell<\/em> yeah! The Main Main<\/a>! The Last Czarninan!!<\/a> He who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it!!!<\/a> This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Lobo costume at Comic-Con. To tie it all together, the very first<\/a><\/em> Con I ever attended gave out a free Lobo comic book<\/a>, which was hilarious<\/em>. It started my appreciation for Lobo’s brand of ultra-violence and humor<\/a>. I still have it to this day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
