One of the panels I enjoy the most at Comic-Con <\/a>is the Cartoon Voices panel. Each year Mark Evanier<\/a> gathers an amazing assortment of the best, funniest, most popular voice actors in the business. This year, with his co-host, Earl Kress<\/a>, Mark got thirteen talented people to lend their considerable skills in a “cold read” of Cinderella<\/em>. Two groups of Voice Actors read the same script.<\/p>\n

The first Cartoon Voices panel included Chuck McCann<\/a>, Candi Milo<\/a>, Jason Marsden<\/a>, Tom Kane<\/a>, Gregg Berger<\/a>, Fred (I’m so sorry I can’t remember his complete name), and April Winchell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The second Cartoon voices panel featured Janet Waldo<\/a>, Phil LaMarr<\/a>, Brian Cummings<\/a>, Dan Gilvezan<\/a>, Laura Summer<\/a>, and Tom Kenny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s just so much fun to hear these people doing voices on the spot for a piece they’d never read before. It takes true talent to pull this off; especially for the narrator; Mark tasked each narrator (first Tom then Dan) to make a completely different voice for every line they read! Each pulled it off expertly.<\/p>\n
