A picture is worth a thousand words. I’m on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, Pinterest<\/a>, Flickr<\/a>, deviantART<\/a>, and Tumblr<\/a>. I’ve been on deviantART since 2007. You’ll find photos, drawings and other\u00a0artsy\u00a0stuff\u00a0there. Instagram and Pinterest feature quick, slice-of-life images. I’ve been on Flickr since 2009. You’ll find a tonne of pics there, especially related to San Diego Comic-Con! For your animated GIF fix, head over to Tumblr.<\/p>\n

Video<\/h2>\n

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million. I’m on\u00a0YouTube<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Vimeo<\/a>.\u00a0YouTube features my videos on a variety of topics like Comic-Con, cooking, and thrift stores. Vimeo focuses on videos about comic books; go check out some cool covers.<\/p>\n

Comics<\/h3>\n

I love comic books. I’ve been a collector since 1987, when I started reading the\u00a0Amazing Spider-Man <\/em>storyline “Kraven’s Last Hunt.”\u00a0In it, Spider-Man is killed by Kraven the Hunter, right after wedding Mary Jane Watson. Kraven then takes Spider-Man’s place and fights crime, brutally. All the while, Vermin stalks and kills the people of New York. What a way to get into comics, eh?<\/p>\n

Actually, the first comic I ever owned was Amazing Spider-Man<\/em> #266. It’s a pretty goofy storyline; you should look it up. I still have that issue, complete with the scribbles I made all over it. I thought Spidey would look great if I drew some eye balls on him!<\/p>\n

Thrift Stores<\/h3>\n

There’s nothing I like more than a good deal. I enjoy visiting the many thrift stores in San Diego. I’ve found lots of\u00a0great items such as comic books (I got a copy of Secret Wars<\/em> #8 for $1 –\u00a0It’s worth more than that!<\/span>), video games (reconnecting with an old childhood game is such a great feeling), and camera gear (digital is nice, but Lomography is where it’s at!).<\/p>\n
